“It’s as easy as breathing.” We hear this phrase about tasks that are so simple, you don’t even have to think about them. But this, as in all things, doesn’t make for a complete picture. In fact, when we pay attention to our breath, we’re also paying attention to our prana, our life force energy.

When we think of being grounded, most people imagine the mundane, either a kid who pushed a boundary with their parents, or safely wired electronics. Did you know there’s another meaning and it involves being stable and centered inside yourself? Being grounded can mean the difference between feeling as though you have little or no control over situations that affect you, and being in the flow with the universal energy around you and feeling supported by the ancient Earth energy.
