thoughts & ponderings
My blog today is not my own and I will put a link at the bottom to the original source. The information though was too interesting to not share so I have used my own words to convey the concept. The concept of the idea-birthing process was shared by Eleanor O'Rourke and Deepak Chopra.at a spirituality conference held in London last year .

Is it possible that you could do more for your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health by doing less, taking time to slow down the body and mind?
For many meditation is the key to a balanced life. However, some people feel that they are unable to meditate because they don't really understand what meditation is. So what is meditation? Oh wow! Did that really happen? A colleague at work has just told you all their problems about ... the boss / the spouse / the kids/ the bank ... and by the end of it they thank you because they feel sooo much lighter now. Yay for them, but how do you feel after this exchange? Feeling drained, exhausted, heavy? Well that's because you just experienced an energy dump. We are constantly exchanging energies with the people around us and some of it is toxic. But there are ways to strengthen your energetic boundaries and minimise this happening.
For some years now eastern traditions have been introduced and integrated into western society. Some things, more mainstream such as music and cuisine and others not so much, but nonetheless a fusion between east and west is undeniable. The idea of chakras and auras may be considered by some as a 'new age' phenomenon but the study and understanding of the chakras goes back thousands of years where they were described in the Hindu Vedas.

So this is me, a down to earth soul having a human experience.
Relishing the challenges and embracing the imperfections of my humanness while pushing the boundaries, exploring and growing by design. When I'm not doing my thing at White Sage I'm usually hanging out in the studio with my bunny, music and paints, catching up with Netflix or spending time with family (because they're adorable). My crushes are Brene Brown and Carolyn Myss. I'm eternally inspired by Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell & Robert A. Johnson. |
